When a tiny star tumbles out of the night sky and lands right in their garden, Emma and her little brother Jack know exactly what to do — help it find its way home. Across sparkling rivers and through whispering woods, two ordinary children discover that a single act of kindness can light up the whole sky. In a small village at the edge of the hills lived a curious girl named Emma and her playful little brother, Jack. They were never happier than when something wonderful was about to happen — and one evening, something was.

That night they lay in the grass, counting stars, when — whoosh! — one tiny star slipped right off the sky and came tumbling down, down, down, until it landed with a soft plink in the middle of their garden.

Emma tiptoed close and lifted the glowing little star in both hands. “Oh, you're so beautiful,” she whispered. “Don't be afraid. We'll take good care of you.”

Jack nodded, quick as a wink, and fetched a little glass jar. Ever so gently, they tucked the star inside, where it twinkled like a firefly in a lantern.

“We have to help you get home,” said Emma. And to their great surprise, a small silvery voice answered back. “Thank you for finding me,” said the star. “I got lost on my way to the Moon.”

So off they went, following the star's tiny directions — through a magic forest that hummed a sleepy tune, over rivers that sparkled like spilled diamonds, and up hills that glowed softly beneath their feet.

At last they reached the great Moon Gates, watched over by a kindly owl named Otis. “Welcome, little travelers!” he hooted warmly. “You've brought back our lost star!”

“Thank you, Emma and Jack,” the star said softly. “Whenever you look up at the sky, remember our adventure — and remember me.”

The children watched as the little star floated up to its own small place in the night, and there it began to shine brighter than it ever had before.

With warm and happy hearts, Emma and Jack walked home under a sky full of friends. And from that night on, they knew: even the smallest bit of kindness can change the whole wide world.
