Managing your subscription
On iPhone and iPad, Marytale Premium is billed by Apple, so it is managed in your Apple Account rather than in the app. Open Settings, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions. From there you can switch between the monthly and annual plan, or turn off auto-renew.
Turning off auto-renew keeps your access until the end of the period you have already paid for. To avoid the next charge, turn it off at least 24 hours before that period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
On Android, Marytale Premium is billed by Google Play. Open the Google Play app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions, and choose Marytale. From there you can change the plan or cancel; access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
Refunds
On iPhone and iPad, purchases go through Apple, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We are not able to issue them ourselves, but if something in the app went wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
On Android, purchases go through Google Play, so refunds follow the Google Play refund policy.
Restoring a purchase on a new phone
Sign in to the same Apple Account (on iPhone or iPad) or the same Google account (on Android) you subscribed with, open Marytale, and your subscription is recognised automatically. If it is not, tap Restore on the subscription screen, or write to us.
Reading without internet
Save a story while you are online and it can be opened later with no connection at all — on a plane, in the car, or anywhere with no signal. Saved stories live in the Saved tab.
The free trial
Both the monthly and the annual plan begin with 7 days free for eligible new subscribers. You can cancel during the trial and you will not be charged. Any unused part of a trial ends when a subscription is purchased.
Parents
Settings, sharing and every link leading outside Marytale sit behind a parental gate, so a young child cannot reach them alone. On iPhone, purchases sit behind the same gate; on Android, Google Play confirms each purchase with the authentication you have set for purchases in Google Play, or through Family Link on a child’s account. Marytale contains no advertising. What we do and do not store is described in our Privacy Policy.
Something is wrong with a story
If a story will not open, an illustration is missing, or the text reads oddly in your language, please tell us which story it was. We read every report and fix what we can.
