Mermaid brushing a pufferfish

The mermaid has taken a brush to a pufferfish, meaning to tidy it up. With every stroke the fish puffs up a little more — and enjoys it enormously. Neither of them shows any sign of stopping.

The pufferfish is big and round, the perfect place to try several colors at once. Outline the spines in something darker. Make the mermaid's tail a contrast to the fish.
