Bird on a horse's mane

The bird has picked a spot between the horse's ears — it is soft up there and you can see a long way. Both of them look in the same direction and both are quite happy with the arrangement. The horse stands still so as not to spoil the view.

Color the bird brightly — blue, yellow or red — so it jumps out against the mane. Keep the mane itself in a quiet color. The bird is small, so a pencil works better than a marker for it.
