Pony in a knitted scarf

Someone made sure the pony would not get cold and wound the scarf twice around its neck. One end with short fringe hangs down the shoulder, and the pony looks remarkably dignified in it.

The scarf is the main event: give it stripes in different colors, like a real knitted one. Color the fringe at each end strand by strand. Keep the pony's body quiet so the scarf stays the brightest thing.
