Owl in a Santa hat

The owl wanted to look festive, so it put on a Santa hat. Unfortunately, the hat is a few sizes too big: it slid down over its eyes, and the pom-pom is dangling right in front of its beak. The owl is bravely sitting on the branch and pretending it can see just fine.

The hat is red with white fur and a pom-pom, the owl brown with a light belly, and the branch brown with white snow. Few details and big spaces, perfect for two- and three-year-olds.
