Butterfly and the empty cocoon

The butterfly sits on a branch pointing at the empty cocoon hanging next to it: that, it seems to be saying, used to be my house. The striped caterpillar below looks at the cocoon, then at the butterfly, and something appears to be dawning.

The caterpillar looks best striped in two colors, every other band. Keep the cocoon pale brown and make the butterfly the brightest thing. The branch is brown.
